In that sense, it has <strong>plans to manufacture eTSI hybrid engines in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is part of <strong>a massive investment approved in the region of R$ 16 billion until 2028<\/strong> for innovation and sustainable development in the automotive industry. In fact, according to reports from <strong><em>Brazil&#8217;s Terra media<\/em><\/strong>, this new Volkswagen initiative would be aimed at introducing the 1.5 TSI engine, which debuted in the European Golf in 2016, in the Latin American market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This engine, which already powers a number of the brand&#8217;s vehicles in Europe, will feature <strong>new exclusive technologies adapted for the Brazilian context.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Related content:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/hyundai-to-promote-green-mobility-and-innovation-in-brazil\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-theme-palette-1-color\"><strong>Hyundai to Boost Mobility and Eco-Innovation in Brazil<\/strong><\/mark><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-details-on-volkswagen-s-engine\"><strong>Details on Volkswagen&#8217;s Engine<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The eTSI engine<\/strong> will offer power variants ranging from <strong>130 hp and 200 Nm to 150 hp and 250 Nm, <\/strong>with the ability to deactivate cylinders to optimize fuel consumption.
