{"id":29969,"date":"2024-03-11T05:05:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-11T10:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=29969"},"modified":"2024-03-09T20:36:05","modified_gmt":"2024-03-10T01:36:05","slug":"universidad-de-chile-opens-international-electromobility-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/universidad-de-chile-opens-international-electromobility-course\/","title":{"rendered":"Universidad de Chile Opens International Electromobility Course"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>University of Chile<\/strong> has opened the call for the <a href=\"https:\/\/dimec.uchile.cl\/app\/cursos-educacion-continua\/\"><strong>International Electromobility Course<\/strong><\/a> (CIE), which will be led by the <strong>Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences<\/strong> (FCFM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a review of <em>Revista Chile<\/em>, the program is aimed at training capabilities in the processes of design, acquisition, maintenance and operation of electric vehicles and fleets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also contemplates from industrial applications to public passenger transportation with buses in Latin America. It is a state policy that aims to develop a roadmap to move towards the development of sustainable transport, with direct benefits to citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New challenges are presented that aim to promote more efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles, in order to generate the necessary guidelines for the safe and sustainable development of electric mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program has goals and ambitions that are established transversally through strategies and national and international agreements that seek to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-latam-mobility-in-chile\"><strong>Latam Mobility in Chile<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In August, <strong>Latam Mobility<\/strong>, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America, will arrive again in Santiago de Chile for its 2024 meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will be two days that will bring together the most prominent industry leaders, along with public sector personalities, to offer their perspectives on advances in low-emission mobility, electromobility and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More information about the meeting and participation <a href=\"https:\/\/live.eventtia.com\/es\/latammobilityconosur2024\/HOME\">here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Chile has opened the call for the International Electromobility Course (CIE), which will be led by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (FCFM).
