In April, 3,840 cars with hybrid or electric technologies were sold, an increase of 90.8% compared to the same month last year. Toyota, Mazda and Suzuki are the leading brands in the segment and all of them experienced growth in their sales.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to reports from Andi and Fenalco on the sale of new vehicles, 15,291 cars were sold in April, which meant an increase of 11.3% compared to the same month of 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The five brands that sold the most vehicles between January and April are: Toyota, Renault, Chevrolet, Kia and Mazda with market shares in the order of 16.1 %, 12.4 %, 11.5 %, 10.3 % and 8.8 %, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the best-selling cars, mild and full hybrids stand out with 3,295, representing 106.2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, 365 100% electric vehicles were sold in Colombia, for an increase rate equivalent to 15.9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Plug-in hybrids amounted to 180, for a positive percentage increase of 80%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Latam Mobility<\/strong>, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America, will once again arrive in Medellin for its 2024 meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two-day event, on June 5 and 6, will bring together the most prominent industry leaders, along with public sector personalities, to offer their perspectives on advances in sustainable mobility, electromobility and sustainability.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
