Porsche has launched the latest version of the Panamera, a luxury sports sedan, in Chile, which now includes improvements in technology and comfort, as well as even more powerful engines.

Among the technological features are the Porsche Active Ride suspension and the integration of the user’s personal digital ecosystem into the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system, providing new ways to interact with and customize the Panamera.

“The new Panamera stands out significantly in the luxury sedan segment, consolidating our position in this market,” said Vicente Díaz, Porsche‘s Manager in Chile.

Related content: Porsche Panamera provides a great driving experience in Mexico

“This third generation is designed to satisfy our most demanding customers, perfectly blending Porsche’s sports DNA with comfort and exclusivity,” he continued.

The Porsche Panamera incorporates four E-Hybrid propulsion systems, thus meeting the growing demand for this technology, with all versions improved in performance, range, and efficiency.

Thus, the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid features a four-liter V8 biturbo engine and a new electric motor with a power of 140 kW (190 HP), which together generate a total system power of 500 kW (680 HP).

The combined torque reaches about 930 Nm, where Porsche has integrated the electric motor into the casing of the eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, which has been completely redesigned. By eliminating a separate casing for the electric motor, a weight saving of approximately 5 kg has been achieved.

On the other hand, this model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h. The battery, with a capacity of 25.9 kWh, offers an electric range of up to 91 kilometers according to the WLTP combined cycle, or between 83 and 93 km in urban cycles.

Finally, the new integrated 11 kW AC charger significantly reduces recharge time at suitable stations, bringing it down to just 2 hours and 39 minutes.

The “Latam Mobility & NetZero Conosur 2024” in Santiago, Chile, will bring together the most important companies and leaders in energy, transportation, fuels, and mobility to showcase the industry’s advances and perspectives in the country and the region.

The summit will feature a series of panels and thematic presentations that play a key role in advancing sustainable mobility, decarbonization, the circular economy, and renewable energy, as well as notable networking opportunities to form key alliances on the path to zero emissions.

The event will take place from August 27 to 28 at the InterContinental Hotel, Santiago, Chile.
