The National College of Technical Professional Education (Conalep)<\/strong> of Tlaxcala, Mexico, became the first subsystem to achieve advances in electromobility, after students managed to transform a car into an electric one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governor Lorena Cu\u00e9llar Cisneros<\/strong> said that the participating students “are a national example thanks to their will, initiative and hard work”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She highlighted that the students have positioned Tlaxcala as a state<\/strong> with capacity and pioneer in promoting cars converted into electric cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For about two months, 300 people, including 250 students and 50 teachers<\/strong>, worked to achieve the change of the unit that is ready to go on the road and not emit pollutants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the engine was not the only one they converted; they also worked on the bodywork, paint, brakes, suspension and steering, which they were able to rebuild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those involved in the project were granted 300 electromobility scholarships<\/strong> by the government of Tlaxcala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, now the students and teachers have the knowledge and skills to convert vehicles, which will allow them to train and share their techniques in other educational institutions and companies in the country in order to transform gasoline units to 100% electric.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a successful start to the year in Monterrey, Latam Mobility<\/strong>, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America, closes 2024 in Mexico City.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be two days, on October 15 and 16<\/strong>, where industry leaders and private sector representatives will provide perspectives on mobility, electromobility, sustainability, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
