The Brazilian delegation<\/strong> arrived in New York to actively participate in the 79th edition of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, <\/strong>organized annually by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at the UN headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this edition, with the participation of 36 countries, the event seeks to eradicate poverty by 2030 through sustainable, resilient, and innovative solutions. Cloves Benevides, Deputy Secretary of Sustainability at the Ministry of Transport, <\/strong>joined Brazil’s diplomatic team to discuss a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) focused on a priority topic for the Ministry of Transport: resilient transport infrastructure in the face of extreme weather events and natural disasters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
