The city of Bogota<\/strong> began Phase VI of the Integrated Public Transportation System (SITP). <\/strong>The so-called “New Era” will allow the Colombian capital to have the largest articulated electric fleet in the world, thus consolidating its leadership in innovation and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The New Era<\/strong> refers to the integration of a new zero and low-emission fleet, consisting of at least 613 buses<\/strong>, which will operate on the new TransMilenio system trunk lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Stage 1 is under development, incorporating 296 articulated and bi-articulated zero<\/strong> and low emission buses, operating mainly from the Portal El V\u00ednculo bus depot in Soacha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
