and Japan Strengthen Ties to Promote Electromobility"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM) of Peru<\/strong> proposed to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI) the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation that will allow articulating efforts between the countries to promote and develop initiatives with renewable energies, <strong>electric mobility, efficiency and energy management.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It has been very productive, in terms of acquiring knowledge and best practices regarding the development of the hydrogen industry&#8221;, <strong>said Minister Romulo Mucho <\/strong>after meeting with <strong>Saito Ken<\/strong>, in a report published by the local media portal Minero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minister stated that <strong>Japanese cooperation<\/strong> will be very important for Peru to make progress in the use of solar, wind and geothermal power generation, among others, in addition to promoting the use of energy storage, smart grids and <strong>renewable energy integration technologies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" use of renewable energies, hydrogen in all its variants, ammonia and derivatives, <strong>such as e-fuel,<\/strong> in order to promote opportunities and accelerate investment in clean and renewable energies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He highlighted that <strong>Peru has a high potential in renewable resources<\/strong>. &#8220;There are 900 Giga Watts of solar energy, 22 Giga Watts of wind energy, 70 Giga Watts of hydraulic energy, 3 Giga Watts of geothermal energy, among others, to increase our energy security in the long term, within the framework of an energy transition towards clean energies<strong>&#8220;, he pointed out.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"572\"
