{"id":36652,"date":"2024-07-25T05:15:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-25T10:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=36652"},"modified":"2024-07-24T16:17:11","modified_gmt":"2024-07-24T21:17:11","slug":"puebla-breaks-records-in-electric-vehicle-sales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/puebla-breaks-records-in-electric-vehicle-sales\/","title":{"rendered":"Puebla Breaks Records in Electric Vehicle Sales"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The Administrative Registry of the Automotive Industry of Light Vehicles (RAIAVL)<\/strong> reported that during the first half of 2024, the state of Puebla recorded the sale of 1,940 electric and hybrid vehicles}.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a new record since 2016, when <strong>the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI)<\/strong> started with the publication of information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a review of <strong>&#8220;El Sol de Puebla<\/strong>&#8220;, the guild explained that in these eight years, the entity increased the demand for this type of units by one thousand 256%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You may also read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/audi-to-invest-more-than-1-billion-dollars-for-electromobility-in-puebla\/\"><strong>Audi to Invest More than 1 Billion Dollars for Electromobility in Puebla<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"572\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vehiculo-electrico-4-1024x572.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-36657\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vehiculo-electrico-4-1024x572.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vehiculo-electrico-4-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vehiculo-electrico-4-768x429.jpg 768w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vehiculo-electrico-4.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-figures-in-detail\"><strong>Figures in Detail<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In the first half of 2016<\/strong>, 143 cars were acquired; in 2017, 139; in 2018, 182; in 2019, 334; in 2020, 306; in 2021, 813; in 2022, 826; in 2023, 1,244; and in 2024, 1,940.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this positive outlook, the institute positioned the state within the national top five, <strong>as one of the places in Mexico<\/strong> with the highest sales of these vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was only surpassed by <strong>Mexico City<\/strong>, with a record of 15,215 cars; State of Mexico, with 7,515; Nuevo Leon, with 5,046 and Jalisco, with 4,588.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an analysis by type of vehicle, INEGI published that the most purchased units in the state of Puebla, during the first semester of the year, were hybrids, with a total acquisition of <strong>1,589; followed by electric vehicles, with 351.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>hybrid vehicle<\/strong> is one that combines an internal combustion engine with an electric one, while electric vehicles no longer use gasoline for their operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/latam-green.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/LM-Mexico.jpg\" alt=\"Puebla\" class=\"wp-image-26421\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-latam-mobility-closes-tour-in-mexico\"><strong>Latam Mobility closes tour in Mexico<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After a successful start to the year in <strong>Monterrey, Latam Mobility<\/strong>, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America, <strong>closes 2024 in Mexico City.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be two days, <strong>on October 15 and 16<\/strong>, where industry leaders and private sector representatives will provide perspectives on mobility, electromobility, sustainability, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting will be held at the <strong>World Trade Center in Mexico City<\/strong>.
