In the midst of the spectacle of the Olympic Games, Toyota<\/strong> becomes a key player for the sports event to generate the least amount of carbon emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this sense, the Japanese brand has 500 hydrogen-powered cars available for logistics<\/strong>. Toyota, as an international mobility partner of the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee, has delivered the support vehicles for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Toyota has provided more than 2,650 electric vehicles<\/strong> for use during the Olympic Games. These units will help athletes, guests, workers, volunteers and spectators to move around safely and with minimal environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the Olympic Village will have 50 electric scooters<\/strong> for internal travel by residents during the Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Environmental Purpose<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yoshihiro Nakata, President and CEO of Toyota Motor Europe<\/strong>, expressed his motivation to be a partner of the Olympic Games in driving sustainable mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our multi-faceted approach to carbon reduction is focused on the fleet that Toyota will make available to the Olympic and Paralympic family in Paris 2024. Toyota will bring a fleet of 100% electrified passenger cars to Paris, in line with our commitment to reducing carbon emissions,” he explained.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toyota has also supplied more than 1,000 units of the Toyota Mirai<\/strong> model, which is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Of these 1,000 units, 500 are part of the official Paris 2024 fleet. Through this fleet, Toyota has committed to reduce carbon emissions by 50%<\/strong> compared to the previous Olympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
