The Panama Canal<\/strong> incorporated 20 new BYD Yuan Plus model electric vehicles<\/strong> during this fiscal year. According to the “Octanos Media” portal, these are medium SUVs with a capacity for five passengers that seek to be efficient and environmentally friendly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The 20 new electrified cars<\/strong> went into operation in July and were acquired as a replacement for medium-sized pickup trucks and gasoline-powered internal combustion sedans, which seeks to reduce the Canal’s carbon footprint and the adoption of cleaner and<\/strong> more sustainable technologies. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the technical specifications presented by BYD, the Yuan Plus model offers a range of 410 kilometers per full charge<\/strong> and a power of 150 kW, meeting the Canal’s operational needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\nEquipment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
