Mexico<\/strong> is gearing up for an expansion<\/strong> in electric vehicle charging infrastructure in 2024, as revealed months ago by Gabriela Gallegos, the leader of electric mobility for ABB Mexico.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In an interview with Expansi\u00f3n, Gallegos highlighted the projected growth of 15 to 20 times the current number of electric vehicle chargers<\/strong> in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to previous data, Mexico had 1,189 charging points for electric cars in 2022. <\/strong>Although the total number of connectors remained constant, there was a significant shift in the ratio, now with one connector for every seven cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
