ABB presented in Chile<\/strong> a set of digital solutions that are at the forefront of the needs of the mining industry, referred to Automation, Robotics and Digitalization in the sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Leonardo Gama, Digital Solutions Consultant of ABB in Brazil<\/strong>, was in charge of presenting part of the company’s portfolio. The executive referred to the use of Digital Twin to develop an optimal advanced process control strategy in a mining operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He explained that digitalization is a fundamental part of the control strategy, emphasizing that “without data there is no control.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n “If we manage the information in the right way, with the right controls, such as an application of the APC class, which is MPC, you can advance in optimization, quality stabilization and achieve new production goals,” Gama emphasized.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
