He did not name the finalist regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In April, Reuters exclusively reported that <strong>Mexico&#8217;s federal government <\/strong>had halted incentives to Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers under pressure from the United States. It will also host a new Volvo plant, the state governor announced earlier this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the central state of Puebla has long had Volkswagen production, and BMW makes electric vehicles in San Luis Potosi, in the <strong>north-central part of the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"572\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/LM-M.jpg\" alt=\"Mexico\" class=\"wp-image-37859\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/LM-M.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/LM-M-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/LM-M-768x429.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-latam-mobility-in-mexico\"><strong>Latam Mobility in Mexico<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After a successful start to the year in Monterrey,<\/strong> Latam Mobility, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America, closes 2024 in Mexico City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There will be two days,<\/strong> on October 15 and 16, where industry leaders and private sector representatives will provide perspectives on mobility, electromobility, sustainability, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The meeting will be held at the World Trade Center<\/strong> in Mexico City.
