Mexico’s Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE)<\/strong> published the \u201cGeneral administrative provisions on electromobility for the integration of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles to the National Electric System as part of a Smart Grid\u201d.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n This is the first regulation<\/strong> on electromobility<\/strong> issued by the regulatory agency and contemplates the charging infrastructure<\/strong> for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Provisions<\/strong> state that the CRE<\/strong> will have a term of no more than 24 months<\/strong> (two years<\/strong> from the entry into force of this regulation) to develop and put into operation an IT platform<\/strong> that will keep the registry, monitoring and evolution of the charging infrastructure<\/strong> for electromobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
