VEMO<\/strong> announced the installation of five electric charging stations<\/strong> in Nuevo Leon, Mexico<\/strong>, as part of its commitment to strengthen electromobility<\/strong> in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new charging points are located in strategic locations in the city, with the aim of facilitating the adoption of electric vehicles<\/strong> in the region, considered one of the most attractive for nearshoring<\/strong>, according to the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO)<\/strong>, the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carlos Levy<\/strong>, Head of the VEMO Charging Network (VCN)<\/strong>, pointed out that the installation of these new electric charging stations is a major step forward in facilitating the adoption of electric mobility<\/strong> in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steps to Follow<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to a review by El Economista<\/strong>, access to the VCN<\/strong> is through the \u201cWatts by VEMO\u201d<\/strong> application, from where they can locate the recharging point, type of charger, use a variety of payment methods, online support, in addition to making the payment and monitoring of recharging data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Levy<\/strong> explained that with the deployment of high-power chargers<\/strong>, they will continue to address range anxiety<\/strong> and develop the public recharging network<\/strong> across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are convinced that our alliances<\/strong> with the main leaders in the automotive sector will be a boost to reach the goal set by the Electro Mobility Association (EMA)<\/strong> – 100% of electric vehicle sales<\/strong> will be electric in Mexico<\/strong> by 2035<\/strong>,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuevo Le\u00f3n’s Secretary of Economy<\/strong>, Iv\u00e1n Rivas Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, stated that the state has received around 72 new investments<\/strong> from the automotive sector<\/strong>, of which more than 50%<\/strong> are linked to electromobility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VEMO<\/strong> seeks to accelerate the adoption of clean mobility technologies<\/strong> through a comprehensive solution that includes vehicles<\/strong>, charging infrastructure<\/strong>, technology and data intelligence<\/strong> for fleet management, as components that make up a clean mobility ecosystem<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
