<strong>plant<\/strong> in <strong>Mexico<\/strong> to supply the <strong>domestic market<\/strong> with <strong>electric units<\/strong> for <strong>passenger transport<\/strong> as part of the <strong>electromobility strategy<\/strong> being promoted in <strong>Mexico City<\/strong> from <strong>2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an interview with the local media <strong>\u201cCr\u00f3nica\u201d<\/strong>, <strong>Michael Ren<\/strong>, <strong>CEO of Yutong Mexico<\/strong>, pointed out that <strong>tariffs<\/strong> for <strong>electric vehicles<\/strong> in the <strong>electromobility market<\/strong> and, within the framework of the <strong>T-MEC<\/strong> with the <strong>United States<\/strong> and the irruption of <strong>nearshoring<\/strong>, would have to be carefully analyzed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You may also read:<\/strong> <a 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-vision\"><strong>Vision<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Yutong&#8217;s plans<\/strong> to invest in a <strong>plant<\/strong> in <strong>Mexico<\/strong> to accelerate the expansion of the so-called <strong>e-buses<\/strong> is presented together with plans to open facilities in other regions such as <strong>Karachi<\/strong>, <strong>Pakistan<\/strong>, where it would build facilities to manufacture <strong>intercity buses<\/strong> and <strong>electric buses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>Chile<\/strong>, according to <strong>Cr\u00f3nica<\/strong>, <strong>Yutong<\/strong> is also expanding its presence in the <strong>electromobility market<\/strong>.<br>By the end of <strong>2024<\/strong>, the <strong>Asian electromobility giant<\/strong> for <strong>mass passenger transport<\/strong> expects to close with <strong>sales of more than 600 units<\/strong>, while by <strong>2025<\/strong> sales would rise to <strong>1,000 units<\/strong>, which would justify the <strong>installation of a plant<\/strong> in <strong>Mexico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With almost <strong>700 electric units<\/strong> for <strong>mass passenger transportation<\/strong> already circulating in the country, now the <strong>Asian mega firm<\/strong> will seek to expand its presence <strong>nationwide<\/strong>, after winning several <strong>public tenders<\/strong> in <strong>Mexico City<\/strong> to sell <strong>hundreds of new generation trolleybuses<\/strong> aimed at taking advantage of and recovering the <strong>routes of the old trolleybus<\/strong> that operated in the <strong>1950s<\/strong> between the <strong>south<\/strong> and the <strong>historic downtown area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-latam-mobility-in-mexico\"><strong>Latam Mobility in Mexico<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Latam Mobility<\/strong>, the <strong>largest sustainable mobility community<\/strong> in <strong>Latin America<\/strong>, closes <strong>2024<\/strong> in <strong>Mexico City<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"572\"
