The Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE)<\/strong>, published a report highlighting that Latin America<\/strong> and the Caribbean (LAC)<\/strong> are experiencing exponential growth in the adoption of electromobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The study \u201cElectric Mobility in Latin America and the Caribbean<\/a>\u201d<\/strong> highlights that the fleet of electrified light-duty vehicles has grown in the last 4 years (2020-2024) more than 14 times, reaching a total of 249,079 units<\/strong> in circulation by the first half of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This growth is particularly notable in plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs)<\/strong>, which have increased 17-fold, while 100% electric vehicles (BEVs)<\/strong> have increased 12-fold in the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
