{"id":40502,"date":"2024-10-02T05:25:47","date_gmt":"2024-10-02T10:25:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=40502"},"modified":"2024-10-01T21:09:37","modified_gmt":"2024-10-02T02:09:37","slug":"zeroca-driving-a-sustainable-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/zeroca-driving-a-sustainable-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Zeroca: Driving a Sustainable Future"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>At the <strong>Latam Mobility Conosur 2024 Business Summit<\/strong>, <strong>Susana Ricaurte<\/strong>, leader for Latin America and the Caribbean at <strong>Zeroca<\/strong>, shared the company&#8217;s vision and mission in the transition towards <strong>electromobility<\/strong> and its role in the <strong>carbon market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zeroca<\/strong> is a strategic alliance between two companies: <strong>Grutter Consulting<\/strong> from Switzerland and <strong>Rebel Group<\/strong> from the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With <strong>over 25 years of experience in the climate change <\/strong>and transportation market, <strong>Grutter Consulting<\/strong> has developed more than <strong>50% of the approved methodologies<\/strong> for the carbon market and has registered over 120 projects globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Susana.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40493\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Susana.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Susana-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Susana-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">S<em>usana Ricaurte<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of <strong>electromobility<\/strong>, <strong>Zeroca<\/strong> has worked in more than 30 countries, developing <strong>roadmaps<\/strong> and projects with <strong>electric buses<\/strong> in various cities, including China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This organization has a presence in the Americas, Asia, and Africa, where it has developed multiple programs that help make mobility projects profitable, thus contributing to the sustainable transition of various countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-zeroca-in-favor-of-sustainable-mobility\"><strong>Zeroca: In Favor of Sustainable Mobility<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zeroca<\/strong> is dedicated to bringing transportation projects to the <strong>regulated carbon market<\/strong>, supporting compliance with <strong>Article 6 of the Paris Agreement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, <strong>Chile<\/strong> has signed a bilateral agreement with <strong>Switzerland<\/strong> to finance and capitalize on electromobility projects through <strong>carbon credits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"572\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Zeroca-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40497\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Zeroca-3.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Zeroca-3-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Zeroca-3-768x429.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>Ricaurte<\/strong>, this is a key moment for the country, <strong>as a specific program is being developed<\/strong> that could be registered by the end of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This program will allow <strong>Chile<\/strong> to access resources that will make its <strong>electric mobility<\/strong> projects viable and ensure their <strong>long-term success.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the Latam Mobility Conosur 2024 Business Summit, Susana Ricaurte, leader for Latin America and the Caribbean at Zeroca, shared the company&#8217;s vision and mission in the transition towards electromobility and its role in the carbon market.
