Mexico’s Energy Regulatory Commission<\/strong> (CRE<\/strong>) stated that the rules that were published for the installation of electric and plug-in hybrid car chargers<\/strong> will allow boosting investments in this industry and advancing in terms of energy transition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Leopoldo Melchi<\/strong>, President of the regulator, explained that a charging infrastructure network<\/strong> and a specific regulation are needed, and this instrument addresses the need as well as creating a digital platform<\/strong> that allows to know the development of the charging infrastructure in Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eduardo Arroyo<\/strong>, Representative of the Ministry of Energy<\/strong> (SENER<\/strong>), said that the regulations will bring investments in a safe way, and will promote electromobility<\/strong> to contribute to the energy transition<\/strong> and decarbonization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
