{"id":41020,"date":"2024-10-10T05:15:23","date_gmt":"2024-10-10T10:15:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=41020"},"modified":"2024-10-09T16:26:43","modified_gmt":"2024-10-09T21:26:43","slug":"bogota-awards-sustainable-mobility-initiatives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/bogota-awards-sustainable-mobility-initiatives\/","title":{"rendered":"Bogota Awards Sustainable Mobility Initiatives"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of the <strong>XVII Bicycle Week<\/strong>, the District Secretariat of Mobility (SDM) of Bogota celebrated two important awards: the <strong>Bicycle Work Awards<\/strong> and the <strong>II Biennial of Micromobility Parking Lots<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event brought together <strong>public entities<\/strong>, educational institutions, shopping malls, private companies, and public parking lots that were honored for their commitment to <strong>sustainable mobility<\/strong> in the city by leading activities that promote <strong>cycling<\/strong> and for providing <strong>safe and quality parking<\/strong> in Bogota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Bicycle Work Awards<\/strong> are carried out in coordination with the District Secretariat of Mobility, the District Secretariat of Environment, and the District Institute of Recreation and Sports, in compliance with <strong>Agreement 660 of 2016<\/strong>, and exclusively recognize district public entities that promote <strong>sustainable commuting<\/strong> to work among their collaborators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You may also read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/bogota-updates-advances-in-technology-and-sustainable-mobility\/\">Bogota Updates Advances in Technology and Sustainable Mobility<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The winning entities were<\/strong>: the Administrative Department of the District Civil Service, the District Institute of Recreation and Sports, and the District Secretariat of Mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"572\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Bici-1024x572.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Bici-1024x572.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Bici-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Bici-768x429.jpg 768w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Bici.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-other-honors\"><strong>Other Honors<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>II Biennial of Micromobility Parking Lots<\/strong> awarded a total of <strong>7 categories<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TransMilenio<\/strong> for the intermodality category, <strong>Atlantis Shopping Mall<\/strong> in the Shopping Malls category, and the <strong>Ministry of Finance<\/strong> in the National and Territorial Entities category, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, organizations such as the <strong>Paseo Villa del R\u00edo Shopping Center<\/strong>, <strong>Centro Mayor<\/strong>, and the <strong>University of Los Andes<\/strong> received special mentions for offering <strong>greater capacity of micro-mobility parking spaces<\/strong> in their facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Finally<\/strong>, the Urban Development Institute (IDU), the Bicycle Sharing System operated by Tembici, and the Bogot\u00e1 Metro received special mentions for their <strong>public space furniture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the XVII Bicycle Week, the District Secretariat of Mobility (SDM) of Bogota celebrated two important awards: the Bicycle Work Awards and the II Biennial of Micromobility Parking Lots.
