The city of Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, has four electric buses from Eletra in its fleet. The delivery of these new vehicles took place a few months ago during a ceremony at the City Hall of the city.

During the event, Mecasul, the first dealership in the southern region to offer technical assistance for Eletra vehicles, was also introduced.

The delivered models measure 12.1 meters, have low floors, a capacity for 70 passengers, and a space for one wheelchair user. They also feature a range of 200 to 250 km.

All buses are equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and USB ports, while Sudeste Transportes will be the company responsible for operating them.
