Chile’s Minister of Transport, Juan Carlos Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>, expressed the importance of electromobility for the country through public policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cElectromobility has been an important policy that transcends governments, and there are commitments that we have been making as a country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n For example, by 2035, all new vehicles entering the country must have zero emissions\u201d, he said at the forum <\/strong>\u2018Electromobility in Chile: Driving the future of sustainable transport\u2019, organized by La Tercera and La Araucana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He valued the increase in electric vehicles, but acknowledged that there are countries that are advancing much faster than Chile<\/strong>. For that reason, he points to the relevance they have given to public transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
