latest public transport tender in <strong>Greater Santiago de Chile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an official statement, the company informed that it will build <strong>14 new electroterminals<\/strong>, which will supply energy to <strong>895 new electric buses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way, the company will increase its participation in the <strong>RED system<\/strong> with <strong>26 electroterminals<\/strong>, which will supply energy to more than <strong>2,000 electric buses<\/strong>, i.e., <strong>51% of electric public transport in the development<\/strong> through initiatives that promote people&#8217;s wellbeing and sustainable growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Urban mobility<\/strong> plays a key role and, therefore, we are proud to continue to be part of the <strong>public-private alliance<\/strong> with the <strong>Ministry of Transport<\/strong>, building <strong>14 new electroterminals<\/strong> for the <strong>Metropolitan Region<\/strong>, which are added to the <strong>13 we have in operation<\/strong> in <strong>Chile<\/strong>, two of them in regions,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>He explained that the infrastructures not only contribute to <strong>reducing carbon emissions<\/strong>, but also significantly reduce <strong>noise pollution<\/strong>, improving the quality of life in urban environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis <strong>public-private effort<\/strong> demonstrates how collaboration can accelerate the <strong>transition to a cleaner and more efficient future<\/strong>,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-action-lines\">Action Lines<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Copec Voltex<\/strong>, a subsidiary of <strong>Copec<\/strong>, will lead the design, engineering, construction, maintenance, and <strong>100% renewable energy<\/strong> supply of the new electroterminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The facilities will have <strong>fast chargers<\/strong>, which will ensure the daily operation of the new <strong>electric buses<\/strong> that will benefit the residents of different districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this regard, <strong>Andrea Castro<\/strong>, general manager of <strong>Copec Voltex<\/strong>, said that this breakthrough will cover the supply of <strong>100% renewable energy<\/strong> for <strong>51% of electric public transport<\/strong> in the region, consolidating the company as the <strong>largest supplier of energy<\/strong> for electric buses in <strong>Chile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Copec<\/strong> emphasizes that the development of these projects will be possible thanks to a coordinated work with other <strong>Copec subsidiaries<\/strong> &#8211;<strong>EMOAC<\/strong> and <strong>Dhemax<\/strong>-, which collaborate closely to deliver the supply of renewable energy and enhance the infrastructure and technological solutions necessary for the operation of the terminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-latam-mobility-in-the-region\"><strong>Latam Mobility in the
