Puebla, Mexico<\/strong>, closes 2024<\/strong> as one of the states with the most progress in electromobility<\/strong>, boasting a car assembly plant and educational programs focused on professionalization in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was revealed by the Secretary of Economy<\/strong>, Alejandra Montiel S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, during her appearance before the Economic Development Commission<\/strong> of the local Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have the most important electric vehicle charging infrastructure<\/strong> in Mexico,\u201d said the official in statements reported by local press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She pointed out that the state has a Mobility Center<\/strong>, the first of its kind for sustainable mobility<\/strong>. Additionally, she stated that Puebla is the first state to have an electric car assembly plant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educational Initiatives<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

She noted that Puebla<\/strong> is a pioneer in specialized training, offering a program in Electromobility Technology<\/strong> at the Technological University of Puebla (UTP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program was created in 2023<\/strong>, along with seven other study programs, and is currently training the first generation of future specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electromobility is being driven in Mexico<\/strong> by both the public and private sectors. Recently, the President-elect<\/strong>, Claudia Sheinbaum<\/strong>, announced the creation of a Mexican brand called Olinia<\/strong>, aimed at providing citizens access to mobility through clean energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 6<\/strong>, she stated that they are working with public higher education institutions<\/strong> and private companies on the patent for the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding investments, the Secretary<\/strong> noted that Audi<\/strong> announced an investment of one billion euros<\/strong> in its plant in San Jos\u00e9 Chiapa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latam Mobility, a Key Synergy Player in the Region<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After a successful 2024<\/strong> tour, Latam Mobility<\/strong> consolidates itself as the most important sustainable mobility community in Latin America<\/strong>, by generating synergy among the actors involved to massify decarbonization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
