Mexico<\/strong> has become a key stronghold for the region with the arrival of major automotive brands, with interesting plans to establish electric vehicle plants<\/strong>. In this context, Latam Mobility<\/strong> solidifies as a key player<\/strong> to generate synergies, networking<\/strong>, and alliances<\/strong> between public and private sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The \u201cNorth America Mobility & Net Zero Summit\u201d<\/strong> in Monterrey will gather the most important companies and leaders related to energy, transportation, fuels<\/strong>, and mobility<\/strong>, to showcase the advancements and industry perspectives<\/strong> in Mexico, the United States<\/strong>, and the region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event will feature a series of thematic panels and presentations<\/strong> that play a starring role in advancing sustainable mobility<\/strong>, decarbonization<\/strong>, circular economy<\/strong>, and renewable energies<\/strong>, as well as highlighted networking<\/strong> for forming key alliances<\/strong> on the path to zero emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Walter Juli\u00e1n \u00c1ngel<\/strong>, leader of the Energy Regulatory Commission of Mexico<\/strong>, participated in the event organized by Latam Mobility<\/strong> in February 2024<\/strong> in Monterrey, where perspectives and initial steps for the recently approved regulatory framework<\/strong> in the country were presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mexico approved the \u201cGeneral Administrative Provisions on Electromobility\u201d<\/strong> for integrating charging infrastructure for electric vehicles<\/strong> and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles<\/strong> connected to the National Electric System<\/strong> as part of a Smart Electric Grid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the first regulation on electromobility<\/strong> issued by the regulatory body<\/strong> and includes the charging infrastructure<\/strong> for electric vehicles<\/strong> and plug-in hybrid vehicles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
