Mercedes-Benz<\/strong> has expressed concern about the lack of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Europe<\/strong>, criticizing the inaction of the European Union<\/strong> in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company’s CEO, Ola K\u00e4llenius<\/strong>, also President<\/strong> of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA)<\/strong>, has pointed out that the production of electric cars exceeds the current charging capacity available on the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
K\u00e4llenius highlights that, although decarbonization<\/strong> is essential, “the path must be compatible with industrial and economic policy<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
