Toyota<\/strong> is making significant progress in completing Woven City<\/strong>, the mobility-focused city the brand decided to build in 2018<\/strong>. At CES 2025<\/strong>, the Japanese company announced that the buildings comprising its first phase are now complete<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Japanese manufacturer is following an ambitious schedule<\/strong>, planning to host the first residents of the enclave<\/strong> during this first phase, which is expected to happen in autumn of this year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In total, about 100 residents<\/strong>, mostly employees of Toyota<\/strong> and its subsidiary Woven by Toyota<\/strong>, will move with their families to this miniature city<\/strong>, located within the grounds of its Higashi-Fuji plant<\/strong> in the Shizuoka region<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
