The presentation of the Olinia<\/strong> project has had a significant impact on Mexico’s plans to expand electric mobility<\/strong> and contribute to environmental conservation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The goal is to encourage the use of these vehicles, which is why the Mexican government<\/strong> has been offering some incentives<\/strong> since last year for those who own these vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The exemptions include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n These vehicles can even be charged at home outlets<\/strong> or parking lots, and the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE)<\/strong> offers free installation<\/strong> of meters for charging stations so that charging does not increase consumption, shifting from a domestic rate<\/strong> to a high domestic consumption rate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On February 20, 2025<\/strong>, Latam Mobility<\/strong>, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America<\/strong> begins its tour in Monterrey, Mexico<\/strong>, with the second edition of the \u201cNorth America Mobility Summit 2025<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mexico<\/strong> has become an important bastion for the region with the arrival of major brands in the automotive industry, with interesting plans to install electric vehicle plants.
