The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility<\/strong>, through the Spanish Railways Foundation<\/strong>, has allocated 4.7 million euros<\/strong> to promote bicycle use in ten Spanish municipalities<\/strong> with populations under 50,000<\/strong> inhabitants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This initiative aims to strengthen the commitment to active and sustainable mobility<\/strong>, highlighting the potential of bicycles as a transformative element in towns, cities, and rural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Out of more than 235 applications received<\/strong> from 44 provinces<\/strong>, the selected municipalities are located in Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia, Galicia, and the Basque Country<\/strong>, representing a combined population of over 161,000 inhabitants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Related Content:<\/strong> Spain Reaches International Agreement for Sustainable Mobility Support<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
