According to the latest report from the Latin American Energy Organization (Olade)<\/strong>, Uruguay<\/strong> ranks as the sixth country<\/strong> in total electric vehicles, with 5,950 units<\/strong> in circulation. This places it behind Brazil (152,493)<\/strong>, Mexico (36,887)<\/strong>, Costa Rica (17,903)<\/strong>, Colombia (14,407)<\/strong>, and Chile (6,184)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, when analyzing electric vehicles per capita<\/strong>, Uruguay<\/strong> stands out in second place<\/strong> with 17.4 units per 10,000 inhabitants<\/strong>, surpassed only by Costa Rica<\/strong>, which leads with 34.3 units<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Uruguay’s success<\/strong> in electric mobility is largely attributed to collaborative initiatives developed by the public and private sectors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
