Key Study on the Impact of Electromobility Presented"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Ministry of Energy of Chile<\/strong>, together with the <strong>Energy Sustainability Agency (AgenciaSE)<\/strong>, published the <strong>&#8220;Study to Quantify the Impacts of Electromobility on the Chilean Electric System and the Cost-Benefit of Flexibility Strategies for Electric Vehicles&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The research was conducted within the framework of the <strong>GEF7 Electromobility Project<\/strong>, funded by the <strong>Global Environment Facility (GEF)<\/strong> and implemented by the <strong>United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the <strong>agency<\/strong>, the <strong>document<\/strong> represents a <strong>key step<\/strong> in the development of <strong>public policies<\/strong> that promote a <strong>sustainable energy transition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-stakeholders\"><strong>Key Stakeholders<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>study<\/strong> was carried out through a <strong>joint effort<\/strong> between <strong>public and private sectors<\/strong>, involving the <strong>Ministry of Energy<\/strong>, the <strong>Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications<\/strong>, the <strong>Ministry of the Environment<\/strong>, the <strong>National Energy Commission (CNE)<\/strong>, the <strong>Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels (SEC)<\/strong>, the <strong>Sustainable Acceleration Center for Electromobility (CASE)<\/strong>, the <strong>Sustainable Mobility Center (CMS)<\/strong>, and the <strong>National Federation of Electric Cooperatives (FENACOPEL)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the <strong>private sector<\/strong>, contributors included <strong>Transelec, Copec Voltex, Enel X Way, Enex, Dhemax<\/strong>, as well as representatives from <strong>academia, service providers, regional authorities<\/strong>, and <strong>other relevant stakeholders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>work<\/strong> has generated <strong>specific recommendations<\/strong> for <strong>integrating electric vehicles as distributed energy resources<\/strong>, improving the <strong>flexibility and resilience of Chile\u2019s electric system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, it provides <strong>key technical and economic information<\/strong> for <strong>decision-making<\/strong> in the <strong>design of public policies
