Since mid-year, the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil<\/strong> approved a bill creating an innovation and sustainable mobility program called Mover<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Similar to the Rota 2030<\/strong> program, Mover<\/strong> targets car manufacturers and sectors of auto parts and strategic systems in vehicle production, with the main goal of promoting research, development, and innovation (R&D&I)<\/strong> projects throughout the sector\u2019s chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The incentives include a reduced IPI tax rate<\/strong> for sustainable vehicles, the generation of financial credits for investments in innovation, and a reduction in Import Duty<\/strong> for auto parts not produced locally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
