On Thursday, February 6<\/strong>, Bogot\u00e1<\/strong> will celebrate a new edition of Car-Free and Motorcycle-Free Day<\/strong>, a day aimed at promoting sustainable mobility<\/strong> and reducing the environmental impact<\/strong> caused by private vehicles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The measure, which will be in effect from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.<\/strong>, prohibits the circulation of private vehicles<\/strong> and motorcycles<\/strong> throughout the city. This annual initiative aims to improve air quality<\/strong>, reduce noise<\/strong>, and encourage the use of transportation methods<\/strong> that are more environmentally friendly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To ensure mobility<\/strong> for citizens during the day, the Bogot\u00e1 Mayor\u2019s Office<\/strong> has implemented several measures, including extended hours for the Integrated Public Transport System (Sitp)<\/strong> and Transmilenio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The system will operate at 100% capacity<\/strong>, with 10,543 buses<\/strong> in circulation and extended schedules from 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.<\/strong> This will allow citizens to travel conveniently throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\nOperation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
