{"id":45565,"date":"2025-02-03T05:25:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-03T10:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=45565"},"modified":"2025-02-02T10:39:27","modified_gmt":"2025-02-02T15:39:27","slug":"chile-announces-major-electromobility-agreement-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/chile-announces-major-electromobility-agreement-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Chile announces major Electromobility Agreement 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Ministry of Energy of Chile<\/strong>, together with the <strong>Energy Sustainability Agency (AgenciaSE)<\/strong>, invites the community to be part of the <strong>Electromobility Agreement 2025<\/strong>, an initiative that brings together <strong>companies<\/strong> and <strong>institutions<\/strong> committed to the <strong>transition<\/strong> towards <strong>more sustainable and efficient transportation<\/strong> in <strong>Chile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>December 2017<\/strong>, as part of the first <strong>National Electromobility Strategy<\/strong>, the first version of the <strong>Public-Private Electromobility Agreement (AEM)<\/strong> was launched, aiming to create a platform where different <strong>institutions<\/strong> can showcase their <strong>initiatives<\/strong> and advance in a <strong>collaborative and coordinated<\/strong> manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the participation of more than <strong>100 institutions<\/strong>, which have been part of one or more versions of the <strong>AEM<\/strong> until <strong>2024<\/strong>, the <strong>Agency<\/strong> ensures that <strong>concrete progress<\/strong> has been identified in the supply of <strong>electric vehicles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"572\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Chile-1024x572.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45558\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Chile-1024x572.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Chile-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Chile-768x429.jpg 768w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Chile.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, they highlight the availability of <strong>charging stations<\/strong> for <strong>electric vehicles<\/strong>, <strong>research projects<\/strong> in the field of <strong>electromobility<\/strong>, the development of <strong>human capital<\/strong>, and the promotion of <strong>electric mobility<\/strong> and <strong>information<\/strong> for the development of <strong>public policies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>EM Agreement<\/strong> has been a space for different <strong>stakeholders<\/strong> to promote <strong>collaboration<\/strong> and coordinate efforts to drive the development of <strong>electromobility in Chile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-latam-mobility-nbsp-on-nbsp-february-20-2025-nbsp-in-nbsp-monterrey\"><strong>Latam Mobility<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>February 20, 2025<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Monterrey<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>February 20, 2025<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Latam Mobility<\/strong>, the largest sustainable mobility community in&nbsp;<strong>Latin America<\/strong>&nbsp;begins its tour in&nbsp;<strong>Monterrey, Mexico<\/strong>, with the second edition of the \u201c<strong>North America Mobility Summit 2025<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44518\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey.jpg 1800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mexico<\/strong>&nbsp;has become an important bastion for the region with the arrival of major brands in the automotive industry, with interesting plans to install electric vehicle plants.
