Tamaulipas<\/strong>, through the Secretariat of Urban Development and Environment (SEDUMA)<\/strong>, has joined the efforts of the Federal Government of Mexico<\/strong> to lay the foundations for an effective transition<\/strong> towards the use of electric buses<\/strong> in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At a meeting organized by the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT)<\/strong>, the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (SECIHTI)<\/strong>, and the National Bank of Public Works and Services (BANOBRAS)<\/strong>, discussions were held on the demand for electric transport units<\/strong> over the next ten years<\/strong>, both at the state<\/strong> and municipal<\/strong> levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The head of SEDUMA<\/strong>, Karina Lizeth Sald\u00edvar Lartigue<\/strong>, stated that it is of interest to the governor, Am\u00e9rico Villarreal Anaya<\/strong>, that Tamaulipas<\/strong> participates alongside the federal government<\/strong> to generate economies of scale<\/strong> in the production of electric buses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
