said <strong>Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He assured that it will improve the journeys of the residents of the <strong>Quilicura, Renca, Independencia, Conchal\u00ed, and Santiago<\/strong> districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Director of Metropolitan Public Transport (DTPM), Paola Tapia<\/strong>, highlighted that the addition of <strong>new electric buses<\/strong> will become a reality starting on <strong>Monday, February 10<\/strong>, for the residents of <strong>Quilicura<\/strong> and the <strong>northwestern districts of Santiago<\/strong>, who will see more <strong>electric buses<\/strong> on their streets, replacing the <strong>green buses<\/strong> they had until now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tapia<\/strong> detailed that these are <strong>50 buses<\/strong> equipped with <strong>WiFi, air conditioning<\/strong>, and, most importantly, <strong>clean energy<\/strong>, covering <strong>nine routes<\/strong>, and aimed at <strong>territorial equity<\/strong>, something that has been strongly promoted and will be further strengthened this year with more <strong>electromobility<\/strong> and the addition of <strong>more than 1,200 new electric buses<\/strong> to the <strong>Red Movilidad<\/strong> system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this regard, the <strong>Ministry of Transport<\/strong> stated that <strong>&#8220;this addition of buses marks the beginning of a 2025<\/strong> that will be defined by <strong>fleet modernization<\/strong>, with the addition of <strong>1,267 new electric buses<\/strong> in the <strong>capital<\/strong>, further advancing <strong>electromobility<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-latam-mobility-nbsp-on-nbsp-february-20-2025-nbsp-in-nbsp-monterrey\"><strong>Latam Mobility<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>February 20, 2025<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Monterrey<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>February 20, 2025<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Latam Mobility<\/strong>, the largest sustainable mobility community in&nbsp;<strong>Latin America<\/strong>&nbsp;begins its tour in&nbsp;<strong>Monterrey, Mexico<\/strong>, with the second edition of the \u201c<strong>North America Mobility Summit 2025<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44518\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Monterrey.jpg 1800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mexico<\/strong>&nbsp;has become an important bastion for the region with the arrival of major brands in the automotive industry, with interesting plans to install electric vehicle plants.
