Lightweight vehicles are gaining traction; in 2023 alone, 1,300,000 units were registered,&#8221;<\/strong> he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He emphasized that the <strong>Olinia Project<\/strong> has an <strong>expert panel<\/strong> made up of representatives from the <strong>public and private sectors<\/strong> for the development of this <strong>innovative program<\/strong> in <strong>Mexico<\/strong> and the <strong>region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Government<\/strong> formed a <strong>team of researchers<\/strong> from the <strong>National Polytechnic Institute (IPN)<\/strong> and the <strong>National Technological Institute of Mexico<\/strong>, which this year will have a <strong>budget of 25 million pesos ($1.25 million)<\/strong> to develop the <strong>model<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The coordinator of the Olinia Project, Rafael Garayoa, gave a remarkable presentation at &#8220;Latam Mobility: North America: 2025&#8221; to introduce the initiative aimed at accelerating the transition to electric mobility in Mexico.
