His presentation was attended by more than 400 attendees<\/strong>, over 70 speakers<\/strong>, and 20 partners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its arrival in Mexico in 2022<\/strong>, Enel X<\/strong> has led key initiatives in electric mobility, distributed generation, smart lighting, and renewable energy solutions<\/strong>. Burgos<\/strong> explained that the company has worked with both the public and private sectors<\/strong> through innovative business models<\/strong> to drive the transformation of public transportation in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Among the implemented models, Charging as a Service<\/strong> and e-Bus as a Service<\/strong> stand out. The first, applied on Metrob\u00fas Lines 3 and 4 in Mexico City<\/strong>, consists of financing, operating, and maintaining charging infrastructure for electric buses. Meanwhile, the e-Bus as a Service<\/strong> model, implemented in Metrorey in Monterrey<\/strong>, integrates both the charging infrastructure and 100% electric buses<\/strong> within a leasing scheme<\/strong>,” stated Burgos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tangible Impact on Public Transportation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During his presentation, Burgos<\/strong> detailed the projects in Mexico City and Monterrey<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Metrob\u00fas Line 3<\/strong>: Installation of 25 chargers<\/strong> of 180 kW<\/strong>, with an installed capacity of 4.4 MW<\/strong>, enabling the electrification of 60 buses<\/strong> and benefiting 200,000 daily users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Metrob\u00fas Line 4<\/strong>: Installation of 28 chargers<\/strong> of 180 kW<\/strong>, with a capacity of 4.9 MW<\/strong>, supporting 55 electric buses<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Electric Route in Monterrey<\/strong>: Implementation of 11 chargers<\/strong> of 180 kW<\/strong> for 21 electric buses<\/strong> with an autonomy of 380 kW<\/strong>, backed by solar energy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
