The City of S\u00e3o Paulo has reinforced its commitment to clean mobility by adding 115 electric buses to its public transportation system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This batch includes five units equipped with cutting-edge technology: intelligent security cameras integrated with the Smart Sampa<\/strong> program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this addition, the city now operates a total of 728 electric vehicles<\/strong>, 527 of which are battery-powered. The fleet renewal represents significant environmental benefits, preventing the annual emission of over 10,000 tons of CO\u2082<\/strong> into the atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Ricardo Nunes<\/strong> emphasized during the presentation that each electric unit replaces the consumption of 35,000 liters of diesel per year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We’re radically transforming our public transportation: improving air quality, enhancing road safety, and providing better working conditions for operators,”\u00a0he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
