The technical manager Claudio Roberto Nielson in his presentation at the Latam Mobility Summit Colombia, explained what are the technological advances of the company Busscar.
It has been in the coffee country since 2008 in Pereira specifically. The company registers 1,596 gas buses produced, a number that would place them in the top positions as the largest gas producers in Latin America.

Busscar focuses on the upper part of the bus while the chassis is obtained from recognized suppliers. It also has a line of double-decker buses and small articulated and bi-articulated buses.

Nielson explained that people’s perception of gas vehicles is that they tend to explode; however, although there is evidence that accidents with this type of car can occur, it usually goes through facilities without technical criteria.

Nielson indicated that despite the fact that gas vehicles have risks due to a strong blow or accident, Busscar has a security system that redirects the natural resource used in an emergency through a valve that adjusts to the position of the tank thus avoiding explosions.

Nielson pointed out that the company trains its entire staff to avoid risks in the construction process since they handle high-voltage systems from vehicle chassis that can reach up to 750 volts.

The technical manager Claudio Roberto Nielson in his presentation at the Latam Mobility Summit Colombia, explained what are the technological advances of the company Busscar. Likewise, the body structure is part of 27% of a 12-meter-high electric cargo vehicle. That 27% is divided between chairs, windows, glass, doors, panel and floor.
