San Pedro Garza Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, in Monterrey<\/strong>, Mexico<\/strong>, is preparing to become a meeting point for mobility experts from across Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 3<\/strong>, the San Pedro Auditorium<\/strong> will host “Latam Mobility North America 2026<\/a><\/strong>“, an international forum that will bring together more than 50 leaders, executives, and specialists<\/strong> from the sector to discuss innovative solutions in urban transportation, smart cities, and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mayor of San Pedro, Mauricio Farah Giacom\u00e1n<\/strong>, emphasized that this meeting reflects his administration’s priority: to transform mobility in San Pedro<\/strong> by integrating technology and strategic planning in the short, medium, and long term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainable Mobility as a Priority<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The \u00abLatam Mobility North America 2026<\/a><\/strong>\u00bb will feature more than 50 national and international speakers<\/strong> who will address key topics such as charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, decarbonization of last-mile logistics, and financing sustainable mobility projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For San Pedro<\/strong>, mobility is not just infrastructure, but a central component of urban development. \u201cWe want to mark a before and after, putting mobility at the center of our agenda,\u201d said Farah Giacom\u00e1n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The summit will serve as a platform to analyze public policies, foster technological innovation, and promote cooperation between governments and the private sector<\/strong>, with the aim of accelerating the transition to cleaner, more efficient, and safer transportation systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Andr\u00e9s Garc\u00eda Giraldo<\/strong>, Mobility Director at Latam Mobility<\/strong>, sustainable mobility is a reality on the continent, but it needs clear public policies and constant collaboration. \u201cIt’s not just about electromobility. It includes road safety, smart cities, energy sources, and road culture,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technology Exhibition Open to the Public<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The event will also feature a technology exhibition outside<\/strong> the San Pedro Auditorium<\/strong>, open to the public, where visitors can see electric and autonomous vehicles, charging stations, and innovative urban solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, local advances in the San Pedro Circuits<\/strong> and smart traffic lights, which allow for better traffic management in the city, will be presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The municipality’s secretary general, Luis Susarrey Flores<\/strong>, highlighted that the San Pedro Circuits<\/strong>, which operate 15 routes and transport more than 120,000 users per month<\/strong>, will be an example of how urban planning can improve the lives of citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
