The new automotive hub will focus on just-in-time assembly programs<\/strong>, materials sequencing<\/strong>, and modular subassembly (MSS)<\/strong>, adapting to evolving vehicle platforms and production requirements in the automotive sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Monterrey facility is designed to handle fluctuations in demand while maintaining efficiency and flexibility in manufacturing and logistics operations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuevo Le\u00f3n closed 2025 as the leader in automotive investment in Mexico<\/strong>, with a total of US$1.4 billion<\/strong>, the highest in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key fourth-quarter projects included industrial park developments by FINSA<\/strong> in Apodaca and Garc\u00eda, totaling more than US$600 million, and the expansion of Hyundai Mobis<\/strong> in Pesquer\u00eda, with an investment of US$28.6 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the national level, Mexico recorded 204 automotive investment projects<\/strong> worth US$9.2 billion<\/strong> in 2025, originating from 20 countries, primarily focused on auto parts manufacturing and industrial infrastructure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industry analysts note that Mexico remains a strategic platform for North American automotive production<\/strong>, with projects emphasizing technical specialization, selective investment<\/strong>, and preparation for the next phase, particularly in electrification, advanced manufacturing, and supply chain localization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growing Electric Mobility Ecosystem<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Emotiv Mobility\u2019s announcement coincides with an investment by VEMO<\/strong>, an electric mobility company that will allocate MX$825 million (US$47 million)<\/strong> in 2026 to develop its electric mobility ecosystem<\/strong> in Monterrey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
