Growth of Electric Mobility in Colombia

The country has seen a significant surge in the adoption of electric and electrified vehicles in recent months.

According to data from ANDI and Fenalco, electric vehicle registrations in Colombia increased by more than 100% at the start of 2026, with growth reaching as high as 129% in February. This trend has solidified Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali as leading cities in charging infrastructure and sustainable mobility strategies.

This growth has been driven by a supportive regulatory framework, including tax incentives, exemptions, and co-financing programs, along with the expansion of fast and ultra-fast charging infrastructure, allowing vehicles to charge up to 80% in under 30 minutes.
