San Pedro Garza Garc\u00eda<\/strong> marked the start of operations in the country, while two pilot exercises in the capital validated the potential of electric scooters as a high\u2011demand urban mobility solution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following its official arrival in Mexico, JET<\/strong> \u2014 a shared electric scooter operator \u2014 began operations in San Pedro Garza Garc\u00eda, Nuevo Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, while consolidating its presence in Mexico City<\/strong> through two active mobility pilot programs, confirming with real results the potential of electric micromobility in the capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On May 3, 2026<\/strong>, JET<\/strong> participated in an active mobility pilot exercise coordinated by the Mexico City Ministry of Mobility (SEMOVI)<\/strong> , with the support of the Undersecretariat of Traffic Control and the Coyoac\u00e1n Borough<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this pilot, the company deployed more than 200 electric scooters<\/strong> at five strategic points along the Calzada de Tlalpan<\/strong> corridor, with the goal of connecting citizens to the Mexico City Stadium<\/strong> in a sustainable way \u2014 at no cost to participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operation recorded high demand on inbound trips<\/strong> (more than 250 trips throughout the day) and efficient performance on stadium exit trips during the return. Citizen response was overwhelmingly positive<\/strong>, with smooth operation all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adoption, Integration, and Response<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

JET<\/strong> conducted its second pilot in Mexico City on May 9<\/strong> during the Liga MX<\/strong> quarterfinal match between Cruz Azul<\/strong> and Atlas<\/strong>, held at the Banorte Stadium<\/strong>. For this exercise, the company deployed a fleet of 150 electric scooters<\/strong> at strategic points, recording more than 300 trips<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A particularly relevant data point:<\/strong> at the end of the match, fans massively adopted the scooters<\/strong> as a last\u2011mile solution to reach the General Anaya station<\/strong> \u2014 with such high occupancy that less than 10% of the units remained available<\/strong> by the close of the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result confirms that the electric scooter works not only as access to the event but also as a spontaneous exit solution<\/strong> in high\u2011concentration contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electric micromobility is consolidating itself as an efficient complement<\/strong> to the capital\u2019s urban transport system, especially on short trips and in high\u2011demand situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansion Strategy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMexico is a strategic market for JET<\/strong> due to its urban dynamism and the growing need for more efficient mobility solutions. The two pilots in Mexico City gave us something that no market study can replace: real evidence of how citizens spontaneously and enthusiastically adopt micromobility<\/strong>.
