These compliance clearances validate the system and organizational processes, enabling the company to offer transportation management services to all levels of federal, state and local government agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Aspects to be Covered by Geotab<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The work to be performed by the company on U.S. government vehicles consists of automatic odometer capture, a measuring instrument that calculates total or partial distance traveled; engine diagnostics, predictive analytics, fuel data, customized reports, Greenhouse Gas reduction dashboards, and fleet right-sizing reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among specific actions, Geotab will be responsible for functions such as placing cameras on-board vehicles, real-time temperature tracking and tire pressure monitoring. In addition, the company will implement innovative mobile applications, third-party integrations, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With billions of data points processed daily, telematics specialists will deliver critical business intelligence to help increase productivity and efficiency, strengthen compliance and improve driver safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected for their integration capabilities and proven commitment to information security, Geotab received permission from the Air Force Department to operate within the Department of Defense, a division of the executive branch of the U.S. Federal Government. This authorization will allow other agencies attached to security to take advantage of the company&#8217;s services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Zdarko, Federal Government Business Development Manager for Geotab, explained that administrations around the world are turning to telematics to improve fleet management.
