Zacua expands its plant in Puebla to boost electric mobility in Mexico

Zacua, a Mexican pioneer in electric car manufacturing, has announced the expansion of its plant in Puebla. According to Nazareth Black, CEO of the company, this expansion will multiply the current size of the facilities several times over.

New technologies will be incorporated there to optimize processes and maintain leadership in electric mobility in Mexico. As part of its strategy for 2025, Zacua will launch two new electric models: a revamped version of its city car and a light truck for last-mile deliveries.

These developments respond to the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions in urban environments. In addition to these launches, the company has plans to introduce an electric motorcycle and a sports vehicle in the near future.

The production of these five new models has driven the expansion of the Puebla facilities, ensuring the necessary capacity to meet market expectations.

Moreover, Zacua also seeks to strengthen its distribution network and collaborate with local governments to expand battery charging infrastructure across the country, facilitating the adoption of electric vehicles and promoting cleaner, more efficient mobility in Mexico.

Finally, Nazareth Black does not rule out the possibility of extending operations to other areas of the country, depending on the progress of the projects and market demand.
