O Brasil deu um passo hist\u00f3rico<\/strong> ao inaugurar a primeira planta do mundo a produzir hidrog\u00eanio verde a partir do bioetanol<\/em>, fruto de uma parceria entre a Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (USP) e o Research Center for Greenhouse Gas Innovation (RCGI). A iniciativa aponta <\/a>para uma transforma\u00e7\u00e3o no cen\u00e1rio energ\u00e9tico global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uma planta piloto com grande impacto<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Com um investimento de R$ 50 milh\u00f5es<\/strong>, o projeto re\u00fane l\u00edderes como Shell Brasil, Ra\u00edzen, Hytron, SENAI CETIQT, Toyota, Hyundai e Marcopolo. O objetivo \u00e9 claro: aproveitar a infraestrutura existente do bioetanol para produzir e distribuir hidrog\u00eanio verde<\/strong> de forma vi\u00e1vel e sustent\u00e1vel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por que usar bioetanol para gerar hidrog\u00eanio verde?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

O bioetanol<\/em> supera os desafios do hidrog\u00eanio puro, como baixa densidade e dificuldade de transporte. Em pa\u00edses como Brasil e Argentina<\/strong>, sua infraestrutura facilita o uso do etanol como meio de armazenamento e transporte<\/strong>, funcionando como uma \u201cbateria l\u00edquida\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A tecnologia empregada \u00e9 o reformador a vapor de etanol<\/strong>, que extrai hidrog\u00eanio com baixas emiss\u00f5es de CO\u2082 \u2014 por ser de origem biog\u00eanica, o impacto ambiental \u00e9 reduzido, podendo ser compensado no cultivo da cana-de-a\u00e7\u00facar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aplica\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas e vis\u00e3o de futuro<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A planta tem capacidade para gerar 100 kg de hidrog\u00eanio por dia<\/strong>, que ser\u00e1 utilizado em tr\u00eas \u00f4nibus e dois carros, incluindo o Toyota Mirai<\/strong> e o Hyundai Nexo<\/strong>. Al\u00e9m de abastecer o transporte p\u00fablico de S\u00e3o Paulo, os dados coletados ajudar\u00e3o a validar a efici\u00eancia da solu\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mas o alcance \u00e9 ainda maior: setores como a\u00e7o, cimento, fertilizantes e petroqu\u00edmica<\/strong> tamb\u00e9m poder\u00e3o se beneficiar do hidrog\u00eanio verde a partir do bioetanol<\/em>, promovendo uma verdadeira descarboniza\u00e7\u00e3o industrial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apoio pol\u00edtico e cient\u00edfico<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Durante visita oficial, o governador Tarc\u00edsio de Freitas<\/strong> afirmou que S\u00e3o Paulo tem ci\u00eancia, infraestrutura e capital humano para liderar essa transforma\u00e7\u00e3o. O reitor da USP, Carlos Gilberto Carlotti Junior<\/strong>, destacou o papel da universidade em criar tecnologias que tragam benef\u00edcios reais \u00e0 sociedade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
