New Agreement will Boost Electric Mobility in Brazil

The electromobility boom in Brazil is attracting the attention of manufacturers and technology companies to invest and boost sustainable mobility in the country and the region.

Only in March 2023, the Brazilian market for light electric vehicles registered 5,989 units, representing a growth of 55.5% compared to March 2022 (3,851). It was the best March and the second best period in the entire historical series of the Brazilian Association of Electric Vehicles, as counted since 2012.

In this regard, Maxion Structural Components, a business division of Iochpe-Maxion and one of the largest producers of automotive structural components in Latin America, and Forsee Power, a European leader-specializing in smart battery systems for sustainable transportation, partnered to offer the integration of battery systems for electric vehicles, especially in the chassis of trucks, buses and off-road vehicles.
