The stations are located in both directions of the Parador Turístico Huimilpan, in the state of Querétaro.
The objective is to meet the growing demand for charging from electric vehicle users who travel between the metropolitan area of Mexico City and the State of Mexico to the Bajío region.
The points have three models of chargers to adapt to the needs of different users.

Characteristics
The electric charging stations consist of a 100 kW direct current fast charger, exclusively for Volkswagen Group users.
In addition, there is a 50 kW direct current fast charger open to the general public.
There is also a 7 kW semi-fast alternating current charger, also exclusively for Volkswagen Group users.
It should be noted that the joint project between Volkswagen Group and Evergo not only seeks to serve users of electric vehicles, but also those using hybrid propulsion systems.
The NSO Vice President and Member of the Executive Board of Volkswagen de México, Jan Witt, pointed out that the purpose of this project is to strengthen the public charging network with faster and smarter points.
Evergo in Mexico
Evergo recently celebrated its first year of operations in Mexico, positioning itself as one of the main drivers of the decarbonization of transportation in the country and the region.
One year into Evergo‘s operations in Mexico, following the majority acquisition of E-DRIVE, a Mexican company that has been a leader in electric vehicle charging solutions since 2016, it has established itself as a benchmark in the current and future of electric mobility.
The company has become the main driver of public charging infrastructure in the country with an announced investment of $200 million over the next five years, with the goal of installing more than 15,000 new charging stations in residential, commercial and public environments.
Latam Mobility Begins 2024 Tour in Monterrey
Latam Mobility, Latin America’s largest sustainable mobility community, will arrive in Monterrey on February 8 with the “North America Mobility and Net Zero Summit 2024”.
